Island Air accepts unaccompanied minors for travel as follows:

Ages 5 to 7

$25 service charge for direct and nonstop flights, and online connections. Island Air will not transfer unaccompanied minors younger than 8 years old to another carrier.

Ages 8 to 11

$25 service charge for direct and nonstop flights, and online connections. $50 service charge to transfer unaccompanied minors that are at least 8 years old to another carrier, provided the carrier accepts unaccompanied minors connecting from another airline. Please contact the connecting carrier for their Unaccompanied Minor policy.

Ages 12 to 17

Escort service for connections may be provided upon request for $30.

Last flight conditions:

Island Air will accept an unaccompanied minor on the last flight of the day only if the adult dropping off the child waits at the airport until the flight has reached its destination.
