Agreement to Terms

By booking a helicopter tour with Island Air Hawaii or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Booking and Reservations

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation.
  • Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
  • Accurate passenger information including weights must be provided.
  • Passengers must arrive at least 30 minutes before departure.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Guest Cancellations

  • 48+ hours before departure: Full refund
  • 24-48 hours before departure: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund
  • No-shows: No refund

Weather Cancellations

If Island Air Hawaii cancels due to weather or safety concerns, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

Passenger Requirements

  • Accurate weight information required at time of booking.
  • Passengers over 250 lbs may need to purchase an additional seat.
  • Children under 2 years old are not permitted.
  • Passengers must be able to board and exit the helicopter without assistance.
  • Pregnant passengers in their third trimester are not permitted to fly.

Safety and Conduct

  • All passengers must follow pilot instructions at all times.
  • Passengers under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to fly.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited on all aircraft.
  • Passengers must remain seated with seatbelts fastened during flight.

Doors-Off Helicopter Tours

  • Passengers must wear provided safety harnesses and flight suits.
  • All loose items must be secured with provided lanyards.
  • Doors-off tours may be converted to doors-on due to weather.
  • Minimum age for doors-off tours is 12 years old.

Liability Waiver

All passengers are required to sign a liability waiver before the flight. By participating, you acknowledge helicopter flights involve inherent risks.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Honolulu County, Hawaii.
